Your Queenstown day tour starts with a cruise aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw across to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Once there, you'll sit back on the lakeside terrace of the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant and savour the delicious aromas as our chef has the best of local produce, sizzling away on the grill.

The seasonal menu includes Kiwi favorites - salads, vegetables, succulent meat cooked on the outdoor rotisserie or grill. If you’re vegetarian, don’t worry, you are well catered for too. Then finish your meal with a delicious dessert.

After your lunch, you can join an entertaining farm demonstration or explore the beautiful lakeside gardens.

In Queenstown ? This is a must do and see. An amazing ride on a vintage steamship across Lake Wakitipu, incredible New Zealand barbecue with local meats, vegetables and jaw dropping desserts with a view that is beyond description. Finish your trip with a sheep shearing demonstration and see how the herding dogs work. Then take your steamship back to beautiful Queenstown. This... will be a highlight of your trip to the South Island. Thank you Matt for arranging this for us.
