Take an unforgettable journey by land, sea and air - into the heart of Milford Sound.

From Queenstown, you'll travel through beautiful Fiordland and the majestic Milford Road with stops for brief walks and photo ops on the way. Once you arrive, join a cruise on Milford Sound lasting 2hr 15mins, where you will travel the length of the Fiord and out to the Tasman Sea. Then end the day with a scenic flight over stunning landscape back to Queenstown.

What's Included

You'll depart Queenstown aboard a luxury, air conditioned coach with a purpose-built glass roof for optimal viewing. There are plenty of opportunities for taking photos throughout the drive; you will visit Mirror Lakes, Monkey Creek, Knobs Flat, Homer Tunnel, Christie Falls and The Chasm. A full English commentary is provided.

Once in Milford Sound, you will join up with Southern Discoveries 2hr 15min Encounter Nature Cruise and enjoy a free picnic lunch on board. After the cruise, your driver will drop you off at the Milford Airport where you will be met by your pilot.

You will have a window seat with unimpaired views as you fly back to Queenstown through a landscape of unbelievable grandeur and beauty. This Milford Sound flight takes you via the glaciers of the Darren Mountains and Barrier Range.

  • Departure at 7am from Queenstown
  • During the winter timetable (1st May - 30th September) the coach goes in for the Scenic cruise which is 1hr 45mins duration, and will include a buffet lunch on board.
