After pick-up from central Queenstown, travel down to Glenorchy – a stunning town on the edge of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Mt Aspiring National Park. This area is known for its inclusion in Lord of the Rings Films, and is one of the most stunning corners of New Zealand.

After arriving in Glenorchy, you’ll take a 90+ minute long jet boat ride as you navigate the crystal clear waters of the Dart River. Your guide will tell you all about the National Park and its significance to early Maori in New Zealand.

Next, discover the surrounding native bush on a guided hike with your naturalist guide. Following that you’ll board a 4WD bus to travel along a backcountry route and enjoy a fun off-road adventure! Learn more about this area and stop to view some of New Zealand’s most epic scenery.

After your Dart River Jet Boat Safari, enjoy a relaxing drive back to Queenstown.
